Be {Drury}: A Look at New Admissions and Marketing Materials

Drury’s new focus on engaged learning has taken root in the admissions office. The Drury Connect initiative and Cause | Effect project have helped set us apart, and that’s good news for incoming students. The admissions office recently developed a series of new materials that put Drury’s best foot forward and take prospective students from contemplating Drury to a warm welcome upon acceptance into our community.

Be{cause} Publication Series

A series of publications is mailed to prospective students. These are designed to be engaging and fun while also giving prospective students (and their parents) the hard facts about Drury.

  • “Life at Drury” focuses on what Drury students’ lives are like, from residence halls to class schedules to athletics and work.
  • “What’s Your Cause?” showcases Drury’s emphasis on developing active global participants. The materials provide information on what makes Drury special (like the fact that there are no classes taught by teaching assistants or grad students, and the high 51% study abroad rate) and information about the surrounding Ozarks community is included.
  • “Be{cause}” encourages would-be students to complete an application and talk with an admission counselor to answer any lingering questions about Drury.
  • Just be{cause} box Like a tiny “thank-you” for students who enroll at Drury, the Just be {cause} box illustrates Drury’s commitment to putting students first.
